Coal for sale Northern Ireland

Hayes Fuels are one of Ireland’s largest coal importers and distributors. The business has a processing facility at Belfast docks where the imported coal is washed and screened to purify and grade it. The processed premium coal is then taken to one of our prepacking facilities at Belfast or Dungannon where our premium bituminous coal or smokeless fuels are packaged and palletised before onward distribution to an extensive customer base throughout Northern Ireland.

Open Fire Coal

Our premium coal products for sale in Northern Ireland include our Black Diamond range of coal and doubles products. Both products are suitable for use in an open fire with our Black Diamond Coal being a premium grade coal that gives a high heat output and low ash content. The Black Diamond Doubles product gives similar heat and ash output as coal but is a smaller sized premium grade coal. Both products can be purchased in 25kg or 50kg bags.

Smokeless Fuel for Closed Fires

We also stock a wide range of smokeless coal products that can be used in closed fires and multi fuel stoves. Our market leading products include Supacite and Glolite which are manufactured smokeless ovoids in an oval shape that when burned leaves only a small ash residue and a high heat output product. We can deliver our smokeless products throughout Northern Ireland in 10k, 25kg or 50kg bags.

Gravity Fed Fuel

Our range of premium coal and smokeless products are also suitable for use in gravity fed systems. Our leading sellers are our uniformly sized Anthracite Beans and Grains that are natural clean burning coal products suitable for use in smoke-controlled areas. The products are prepacked in 25kg bags and are characterised by having a low flame with a long burn time. They are available for distribution through Northern Ireland.
